Tour: THE APPLETON LADIES’ POTATO RACE

28 Jan 2021

Calling all potato loving punters! We’re thrilled to announce that 2019’s hugely successful THE APPLETON LADIES’ POTATO RACE by Melanie Tait will be traversing the nation to bring this much loved Australian comedy to major cities and regional venues throughout the country.

Inspired by true events, this “sparkling new comedy” (SMH) is a funny, honest and heart-warming story about upsetting the potato cart and standing up for your principles.

“THE APPLETON LADIES’ POTATO RACE is a comedy about our relationship to both history and change.  Through the lens of five female characters living in rural Australia we look in on ourselves as a nation.” – Director Priscilla Jackman
