Ensemble Ed Outreach Program

DEDICATED SCHOOLS PERFORMANCES

Each year we host dedicated education performances and in 2023 students will once again be invited to enjoy a play at Ensemble Theatre, MR BAILEY’S MINDER, followed by an insightful Q&A session as well as lunch and goody bags provided by our partners Foodbank and Tip Top.

These special performances are made possible by the support of the Clitheroe Foundation and Victoria and Ian Pollard.

LIVESTREAMING THEATRE TO REGIONAL AUSTRALIA

Our livestreaming program broadcasts plays directly from the theatre into the classroom, reaching schools in regional and remote locations across Australia.

The program launched in 2019 with ten regional schools tuning into a livestreamed performance of THE APPLETON LADIES’ POTATO RACE followed by the opportunity to ask cast and creatives live questions.

We’ll be offering this unique online experience again in 2023 with MR BAILEY’S MINDER as we aim to reach more students across the country.

Register your interest at education@ensemble.com.au and we’ll be in touch with details on how to access the livestream. A recording will also be available if you’re unable to view the livestreamed performance on the day.

ENSEMBLE ED GROWS WITH THE SMITH FAMILY

In 2023 we’re proud to continue our partnership with The Smith Family. As part of their SmArts education program, we’ll be working closely together to provide students with unique access and learning opportunities within the theatre.
