Scene Stealers (Years 7-9)*

FILLING FAST! Ever wondered what it’s really like to step into a rehearsal room? SCENE STEALERS is a four-day workshop designed for young people who love creating characters, digging into scripts and bringing stories to life.

Led by professional actors, this workshop takes you behind the scenes to help build your confidence and develop a range of key performance skills. The workshop also includes a ticket to a performance of THE ELEVATOR, where you can watch professional actors in action before stepping on stage for your own mini-studio showcase.

*This workshop includes a ticket to see a matinee performance of Ensemble’s production of THE ELEVATOR at 11am on Friday 9 October.

FROM TUESDAY TO FRIDAY:

Workshops will be held at Loreto Kirribilli School, which is just around the corner from Ensemble Theatre.

Loretto Kirribilli School is located at 85 Carabella Street, Kirribilli. Drop off and pick up is via the main gate on Carabella Street.

• The Scene Stealers Workshop also includes a ticket to see a matinee performance of THE ELEVATOR at Ensemble Theatre on Friday 9 October at 11am. Parents and guardians should familiarise themselves with the themes and content warning when deciding if this workshop is suitable for your child.
• Students must bring their own packed lunch and morning tea along with a drink/water.
• Students from Year 7 or above can leave the school grounds at lunch time to get food from the nearby shops, with written permission from parents prior to the workshop commencing.
• Students should wear loose comfortable clothes they can move around in.
• All teaching artists are working industry professionals with current Working With Children Checks.
