Join Todd McKenney and his friends on the couch for a light hearted performance featuring songs, stories and surprises.

Todd McKenney is best known for his 11 years as a judge on Channel 7’s DANCING WITH THE STARS and his stellar performance as Peter Allen in the original Australian production of THE BOY FROM OZ. He has over thirty musical theatre credits to his name and we are delighted he is Ensemble Theatre’s new patron.

Queenie van de Zandt is one of Australia’s most loved musical theatre performers having appeared in KING KONG, EUREKA, THE WOMEN OF TROY, CABARET, OLIVER, THE FULL MONTY – THE MUSICAL and as an actress at Ensemble Theatre in ABSENT FRIENDS, ABIGAIL’s PARTY and RABBIT HOLE. Multi Gold and Silver Logie Award winning actress Georgie Parker is best known for her long running television roles in HOME AND AWAY, PLAYSCHOOL, ALL SAINTS and A COUNTRY PRACTICE. Simon Burke is one of Australia’s best loved entertainers. In musical theatre he has most recently appeared in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES with Todd McKenney for The Production Company.

We are delighted that Todd McKenney and Georgie Parker, both Patrons of Ensemble Theatre are appearing together on our stage for this very special one-off cabaret event. Georgie has appeared in many productions at Ensemble Theatre and is soon to be appearing in our production of BAREFOOT IN THE PARK. Todd most recently appeared in our return season of SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS with Nancye Hayes at the Concourse Theatre, Chatswood, a decade after Ensemble’s original production which toured nationally and won a Helpmann Award for Best Touring Production.

Simon Burke also appeared in THE WHARF REVUE for STC, MARY POPPINS and as Captain von Trapp in THE SOUND OF MUSIC in London. At Ensemble Theatre he performed in THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG opposite Georgie Parker back in 2006; and on television he’s appeared in MISS FISHER’S MURDER MYSTERIES, THE DEVIL’S PLAYGROUND, RESCUE SPECIAL OPS and ALL SAINTS, as well as hosting his own show STUDIO A WITH SIMON BURKE on Foxtel. He also hosted the Helpmann Awards for many years.
