Lights, camera… action!
In this dynamic week-long workshop, young performers dive into the history of Hollywood, from the glamorous Golden Age to today’s blockbuster era.
Through drama exercises, scene work, and creative collaboration, students will explore the evolution of screen storytelling to discover what truly makes a star shine.
Through exploring the archetypes of heroes and villains, students will develop performance skills, explore character types, and discover storytelling techniques. At the end of the week, students perform for families and friends on the Ensemble Theatre stage.
FROM MONDAY TO THURSDAY:
Workshops will be held at Loreto Kirribilli School, which is just around the corner from Ensemble Theatre.
Loretto Kirribilli School is located at 85 Carabella Street, Kirribilli. Drop off and pick up is via the main gate on Carabella Street.
ON FRIDAY:
Students to be dropped off and picked up at Ensemble Theatre, which is just around the corner from Loreto Kirribilli, at 78 McDougall Street, Kirribilli.

- Students must bring their own packed lunch and morning tea along with a drink/water.
- Students from Year 7 or above can leave the school grounds at lunch time to get food from the nearby shops, with written permission from parents prior to the workshop commencing.
- Students should wear loose comfortable clothes they can move around in.
- The final performance takes place on Friday at 3pm and will run for approximately 30 minutes. The performance takes place at the Ensemble Theatre at 78 McDougall Street, Kirribilli.
- All teaching artists are working industry professionals with current Working With Children Checks.
