Beautiful, extraordinary weather.
Ian Thorpe and, er … Nikki Webster?

As the countdown to the Sydney Olympic Games begins, frustrated writer Andy (Jamie Oxenbould) decides to pursue a brand new career path as a taxi driver. In the course of his adventures we meet 32 passengers, from drunken Americans to 101-year-old ladies to a couple of Liverpool lads who wonder why all Australian athletes are called Shane. And then there’s Isabella (Catherine Moore), one very irritated girlfriend…
Based on the very funny book by Anthony Sharwood, written from his own experiences, You Talkin’ To Me is a celebration of a city and its people, a love story and a reminder of an innocent time.
Jamie Oxenbould received critical acclaim for his tour de force performance in the Ensemble’s 2002 production, Fully Committed. Now he takes on the challenge of once again portraying over 30 characters, this time ably assisted by Catherine Moore.
