Sandra Bates MessageOn 11 May 1958 an intrepid group of actors under the direction of Hayes Gordon producted VARIATIONS ON A THEME a series of short plays by Tennessee Williams at Cammeray Children's Library and thus Ensemble Theatre was born. Nineteen months later, on 1st January 1960 they presented the first play THE MAN at the Boatshed in Kirribilli where we still are today. Fifty years calls for a big celebration and we have great goodies in store for you. Eleven productions for you to enjoy along with special events during the year. We are delighted to have AEH Group and the Playoust Family Foundation join us in a sponsorship agreement which has made such an extravaganza of a year possible. We are very pleased to welcome Kennards Hire as the production sponsor for YOU TALKIN' TO ME. If you are planning to subscribe to less than the eleven productions please please please don't ask me what to leave out, I could only say celebrate 50 years thoroughly with us, splash out and see them all.
