Ensemble Audience Services

The staff of the Ensemble Theatre wish you to enjoy your visit and to make the most of our facilities. Information is provided below about some of the amenities offered at the Ensemble Theatre.

Special Needs

Wheelchair and level access is available from the foyer into Row F. Access can also be arranged into Bayly’s Restaurant via Stage Door.

A hearing loop operates within the theatre and covers 90% of seating. Hearing aid wearers can take advantage of this device by switching their hearing aid to the T switch. Receivers are also available from the box office for patrons without hearing aids. Check with the box office that your seat is within the range of the hearing loop.

Audio Description of performances is provided by Vision Australia at specifically denoted performances. Users are provided with a discreet receiver and given contextual information regarding the performance by trained describers.

Dining & Refreshments

The Foyer Bar is open for service from one hour prior to the commencement of the performance at intermission and following the conclusion of the performance. The bar provides a range of beverages and snacks for pre-show, interval and post-show enjoyment.

Bayly’s Restaurant is open for pre-show dining from 6pm prior to evening performances and lunch following Thursday matinees. Patrons attending the 5pm performance on a Saturday may enjoy dinner following the performance. For menu details and further information go to the Bayly’s page under Venue.
