What would make you murder someone: Money, revenge, justice? Residents of the Riddle Key retirement community start dropping like flies when three unrelated individuals are driven to commit murder. Gerald Halverson has married his long-term girlfriend’s elderly and dying mother so that they can avoid paying taxes on their inheritance, when she makes a sudden recovery. Lucy Stickler is faced with the woman who cuckolded her years ago and is again fooling around with her husband. And then there’s Minka Lupino, Village Administrator, who has a very definite view on how to deal with those who treat their elderly relatives badly. Each has an idea for the perfect murder in this delightful, funny and surprising play from the writer of one of the Ensemble’s hit productions of 2009, Tuesdays With Morrie.
