The Ensemble Theatre is delighted to announce a joint partnership with Nutcote, May Gibbs’ delightful home on the shores of Neutral Bay. Nutcote was built in 1925 for May Gibbs, and was where she created such Australian children’s classics as Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, Little Ragged Blossom and her comic strip Bib and Bub. The house where she lived and worked for 44 years has been faithfully restored and furnished in the style of the early 1930s and is open to visitors from Wednesdays to Sundays.
